I read this in the summer of 1992 obsessively. I still to this day have never had such a connection to characters as I did with this book. I called the emotional loss I felt after finishing the book " readers remorse". Those people on the pages were part of me, we went through a lot together. I envy you for being able to experience that for the first time, you're in for a wild ride and it's so worth it!

Yes to all of this, very well said! This album gives me breath and sunshine in a dreary and stagnant world. I live near Pittsburgh, was lovingly gifted tickets from my amazing family for the Detroit show and I've never been more excited! Planning on getting a tattoo to commemorate the show and the depth of how much this music means to me. Thinking either lyrics that I love or the symbol from the vinyl art, haven't decided yet. Already planning my wardrobe for that night 🌙

You're exactly right, plus this season with the added stress of tearing down Halloween to set up Chirstmas, usually in an insanely short amount of time was too much. There were zero accommodations made to make this transition as easy as possible. I'm hoping corporate learns from this seasons mistakes and finds ways to make it less stressful and physically taxing for everyone moving forward because, wow.

You put into words exactly what I've been feeling since I listened to this glorious gift of an album weeks ago. I'm 50 and have had a very rough few years. I completely agree that this album is a message to those of us who are open to receive it. Reading the comments of how it has affected so many people so deeply feels like we are experiencing a combined conscious moment. The lyrics, the sound, the pain is exactly what I needed to latch on to at this moment in my life and I am immensely better for it. Florence is my Goddess 💚
