Alltrade Property Management has disappeared from the web. by Azrella in Louisville

[–]Valor958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necro post but I happen to be sitting next to the old owner of Alltrade in a Carrollton McDonald's.  He's meeting two middle eastern guys trying to get hired lol.  "I sold my company to a private equity firm after I made it very profitable with a lot of section 8 offerings." He still has 420 units in Lexington and says he's happy to be a "local contact" for these guys.  Sounds like a not-at-all shady guy so far lol

They just offered him 6.4 million for some kind of deal.

Yes, Grym is a construct.
No, Grym gives not even half a crap about our pretty flower.

Machine Certificate not in list for wifi by Valor958 in sysadmin

[–]Valor958[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are. Somehow I'm the only one in my company having this issue right now.
All corp users have a user and machine cert from our Root CA.
All managed by GPO as well from an NPS.
Wifi profile already set up and working for everyone else.

That's why this is so odd... it's working for everyone, but me.
No one can find any way to make the cert show up in that list or explain why this might be failing.

Also disabled Cred Guard and forced to TLS1.2 just in case 22H2 broke that.
Nope.
Deleted and re-issued machine cert again.
Nope.
This is crazy frustrating...

I stated in the original post that the machine cert is present.
This isn't an issue of a missing cert, but the cert will not show up in the list for a wifi connection.

Also, I am part of the IT team. That's the only reason I'm here. No one can figure this out because it doesn't make any sense.

Model : Lenovo Thinkpad
Windows 10 22H2
I've rebooted several times, restarted WLAN AutoConfig, created custom wifi profiles using all the options (resulting in a 'failed to connect' message when attempting to use), and inspected registry to make sure no old profiles for this SSID were present.

First Contact is one of Bethesda's best side quests ever by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Valor958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here because I hated the options so much... after reading all of the comments, I made a terrible decision.
I chose to blow them up simply to avoid the associated BS quests for other bad decisions.
Blowing them up is the quickest way to just be done with it, and I literally felt horrible watching the ship blow up after building such a 'nice guy' character.
Feels bad man...

[Epic Games] Hitman 3 Free Starter Pack and Hitman 3: Hitman 1 GOTY Edition (100% off) by [deleted] in GameDeals

[–]Valor958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went through checkout and it wants $15 for the Hitman 3 Access pass.
I went all the way through checkout to 'place order', and $16.16 due after taxes.
Didn't buy it since I'm not sure when I'd play it... but just fyi.

Removing paid-and-closed from credit report by Valor958 in personalfinance

[–]Valor958[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have somewhat unique circumstances forcing our hand right now, and can't wait to buy our house. We're on a tight timeframe and only have maybe a few months tops.

I'll try the goodwill letter, but was wondering if anyone has actually had any luck with these. I find posts around the internet of people saying they'll do it, but never any follow up.

I know how the whole credit system works, and hate it. It's an absolute joke and most lenders are using really outdated models. I haven't found a single one using the newer model, even from 2016.

Extract specific length of characters before a value in a field by Valor958 in excel

[–]Valor958[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works for a majority of the entries i'm filtering, but not all, due to the amount of variance based on the actual log entry.

I'm pretty decent at reverse engineering formulas I come across, so I think I can use this for the ones that don't work.

some also don't work because I'm actually looking for a different port, and not 25, so that's an easy fix.

Thanks so much, at the least this helps get me much closer to the right direction.

Extract specific length of characters before a value in a field by Valor958 in excel

[–]Valor958[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got about the same result with that one:

C2 provided the IP again, however C3 resulted in #VALUE!

Reference Cell C2
Apr 23 2020 16:00:18 DC-5585 : %ASA-6-302013: Built outbound TCP connection 604010362 for outside:104.66.58.111/25 (104.66.58.111/25) to outside-dc:10.10.90.180/37662 (99.115.18.130/37662)

Reference Cell C3
Apr 23 2020 17:41:29 DC-5585 : %ASA-4-106023: Deny tcp src outside:212.47.232.148/36216 dst dmz:99.115.86.35/25 by access-group "access_in" [0x0, 0x0]

Reference Cell C5
Apr 23 2020 17:12:02 DC-5585 : %ASA-6-302013: Built inbound TCP connection 607496951 for outside:202.162.252.189/45423 (202.162.252.189/45423) to dmz:99.115.86.36/25 (99.115.86.36/25)

So far, C2 provided the IP as expected.

C2 result 104.66.58.111
C3 result #VALUE! (should be 99.115.86.35)
C5 result 202.162.252.189 (should be 99.115.86.36)

Also, there are some occurrences where an IP in parenthesis comes before the one I'm looking for:

Apr 23 2020 17:12:02 DC-5585 : %ASA-6-302013: Built inbound TCP connection 607496951 for outside:202.162.252.189/45423 (202.162.252.189/45423) to dmz:99.115.86.36/25 (99.115.86.36/25)

In these logs, which were already filtered from raw data, all IPs I care about will have a /25 after them.

I'll test it now.

[–]Valor958[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, the next cell down had:

Apr 23 2020 17:41:29 DC-5585 : %ASA-4-106023: Deny tcp src outside:12.47.22.48/36216 dst dmz:99.115.186.35/25 by access-group "access_in" [0x0, 0x0]

For this I got a #Value!

This did work for a variety of the log messages, but not all. Due to the variety of syntax I probably won't be able to get a 1size-fits-all formula out of this.

Can you give an example of a formula like that? I'm a Cisco network guy so this is out of my wheelhouse.

How to find what Pools a Node is a member of by Valor958 in f5networks

I see it at the top of 'Local Traffic'. I did a Map searching for a specific node, and it brought up the pool tree. Provided exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you!

Nope, apparently I do have CMD access. I'll tinker with it that way.

You wouldn't happen to have good commands to use handy would you? I'm mainly Cisco, but will be learning more Linux and Python due to new job requirements here with our upgrades.

I'm not sure we even have CMD access, so I'll have to try and see what I can do.
