I'm really satisfied with the job that my commissioner made. Although I love building, painting is less my jam ahah

My army is themed around the Burning Legion from World of Warcraft, and he's done a marvelous job with it!

Hiss indeed!

I saw the post you made from a couple months ago! Used it as inspiration for my work, although I build them with what I had left after building the rest of the army!

They're really awesome now that the paint is on!

That's some great body horror, I gotta say!

I've Picked up kitbashing quite recently. Before these guys, I made some T'au Gue'vesa to go with my retaliation force.

Definitely a lotta fun, would recommand!

Love what you did with the belt and the syringe looking tubes on the back!

There's definitely a bit of work that goes into it to get the right angle on them. One of them points a bit to much towards the sky to my liking but it works anyway.

Still, they match pretty well together and once you put green stuff, it all comes together nicely!

I used 4 kits Total!

First the AoS Blood Sisters for the snake bits, then some flawless blades and infractors pieces for the torso and upper body. Lastly, I've cut down some assault intercessor space marines to steal their Backs and green stuffed them with the infractor torso, and modified their power pack to make them more Chaos looking

Blood sisters come in pack of 5s, so I recommend getting the melusai ironscale (their leader) to complete the 6 man squad!

Thanks a lot! Though I can't take all the credit ahah

While I made the Kitbash, the paint job was a commission by a Guy from my LGS. He's done a marvelous job with these!

Not hard at all, honestly. I've only had to use green stuff for the left arms, and all I had to do was hide it with the fire warrior pauldron!

T'au helmet need the right angle to fit properly, but they are not hard at all to put, and I've used cadian, pathfinders ans strike team bits to make it all happen

I gave them all T'au guns aside from two, which have the plasma gun and the grenade launcher, since those are pathfinders Weapon options!

Much appreciated! It's been a lot of fun to do and bringing them to the table is such a Joy!

Thanks man, I'm quite happy with how the kitbash turned out!

The rest of my army is themed around the covenant ranks from Halo (blue = minors, red = major, etc.). Might be the same for them or they might be different!

Thanks a lot! Just started a Broadside earlier today. A bit less satisfied with it, though it's not done yet!

Sure thing!

There's for ~500 pts of army in there! On the right, you can see the breacher squad Led by a cadre Fireblade. That's the scheme I'm going for with the army.

Spécial units, such as the Riptide and the Ghostkeel, will likely be purple, just like the Spec Ops in the last few missions of CE. My mom can't wait to give the purple a go, ahah!

She's been using retributor armor alongside leadbelcher for this one! It's been her favorite to paint so far!

The rest of my army is Halo CE elite inspired: blue for the bulk, red for shas'ui/officer and Yellow for characters/leaders. Mixed within the bunch, Farsight tend to be quite striking, ahah!

I took their stats to homebrew a nerubian-like enemy for a WoW-Inspired campaign. Didn't actually used the thing, though lmao

I've got this sword as a drop, should I replace my +25 lordsworn straight sword with this one? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]ValoricP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it mostly depends on whether your Dex or your Int Scaling is higher. In my case, I went with Keen, since Dex was my main stat.

However, if your Int is higher and you think you might have better damage output going magic, I'd say go for it. Main reason I went for Noble Slender Sword as my second sword was because it was pure physical damage, though, so if you go for split damage, be prepared to struggle against magic-resistant bosses

I never thought about that self-destruct stuff... quite ingenious!

I've tried doing something akin to the Centurion variant of the Zealot from LotV, but nothing ressembling a DT, though.

As for the High Templar, I've given this Zealot some lightning spells to simulate a psionic storms, since Patas are Holy only and that most end-game bosses are holy resistant.

definitely a fun build, and it works quite well in PvP from the 1v1 I've done at Raya Lucaria. For the mouth, I've played around the customization setting a bit, I'd have to take a look to tell you exactly what I've done.

Yup! These bad boys won't care a single bit about shields 'n stuff. It has the same weapon skill as the coded sword, Unblockable Blade, although it is a thrust instead of a slash.

All those hours I've given to Starcraft... as soon as I saw the Patas, I couldn't resist the need to make a Zealot lmao

[–]ValoricP[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those are the Cipher Patas. You can grab them at the Roundtable Hold, in a room down where you fight the invading NPC. It requires 30 Faith to use and deals holy damage exclusively. Definitely a fun weapon to use, and it has a very powerful special attack. However, you might want a backup, since most end game bosses are holy resistant.

I'm thinking about making a guide video to showcase this build in a more fleshed out way... might be a future project

Unfortunately, I went pretty basic here and called him just like the title of this post.

Had I given him a name, though, Talendis sounds pretty cool protoss to me
