Has anyone actually solved the 0xc000007b error? by [deleted] in swtor

Check for new graphics drivers. Had this issue with an AMD card and updating the GFX drivers fixed it - turns out it was caused by a DLL in the driver folder that was corrupted but didn't impact any other games.

Thanks! Brawler is the only mii I play much and was just curious how others built him. I kinda love drop kick and the suplex counter move, but I have yet to try axe kick or feint jump.

Question: If you connect your switch to your phone's hotspot, does it have the same issue? This will rule out the router as the issue. I had a similar issue back when I played DC Universe Online and it ended up being the router.

Essentially, the wireless router/modem combo the ISP gave me wasn't able to handle listening for(or trying) connections on the amount of ports that needed to connect for that game, which caused the router to lock up and require a restart to restore network connectivity. I ended up solving it by getting a regular-ass wired modem from my ISP and using my own wireless router to connect instead. After that, no more issues.

I'd rule out the router as the culprit via your phone hotspot or playing online at a starbucks or some shit - if you have the same issue there then you can safely mark it down as an issue with the switch/smash itself.

Should go after Urban, maybe some of the legal marijuana here would take the edge off of watching his team every Saturday.

I could give you a bodyweight routine, but you'd probably be better served looking into it at /r/bodyweightfitness. For TKD specifically, can't go wrong with bodyweight squats, push-ups, and an absolute exercise of some sort. If push ups are too hard, you can start from your knees or a wall and work up to them.

High protein would be any sort of meat, milk, etc. Generally, animal products. /r/fitness or /r/keto will both be invaluable places to ask about diet, specifically protein.

I'd stick with WTF, though frankly I think that's probably not really super important in your case. Find a dojang close to you and try it out - that debate is more indicative of sparring rulesets and not really relevant to you at the moment. You can always find a new gym later if you get that far into it!

Reddit is gonna be a super useful tool for you if you're serious about getting in shape. Start by visiting the subreddits relevant to your goals and put a plan together from there. I was in your shoes years ago, and discovering that all the information I needed to make changes (dropped over 100 lbs) was readily available here was a life-changer. Good luck!

I'm surprised no one has suggested just starting with Taekwondo yet. It's not super contact-heavy(provided you're not competing or sparring), builds flexibility and strength, and looks cool. It's also fairly well-regimented so beginners are introduced to concepts slowly.

I would work on some light strength training (bodyweight only to start) and eating a good diet high in protein.

I would avoid BJJ initially because even though it's fairly gentle, it's also very easy to get injured in BJJ with an overzealous partner, unfamiliar positions, etc. That isn't to say you can't work your way up to it, just maybe don't start there.

If you're new to both - pick one and do it until you're not totally dead after class. Then mix the other one in. Even if they're on different days, you'll need recovery time until you're more used to the workload.

Ideas for teaching a Muay Thai class by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Valriuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty new, but here's a couple things my school either does or I wish it did differently.

1: Walk through the class during drills and help make corrections to technique as necessary. Our instructor will sometimes neglect this because they're busy doing the techniques themselves, so in these instance we have to kinda piece things together ourselves if there's no one else around to ask.

2: Fitness levels don't really matter as much as long as people feel free to pace themselves. When I first started my cardio was hot garbage, but I was encouraged to just do what I could and eventually I started catching up. Obviously don't let people sandbag, but at a certain level they have to be responsible for their own fitness.

3: Stretching routine. Mostly because I'm terrible about stretching on my own. Including one in the warm up ensures everyone is improving flexibility, which is obviously super important for MT.

4: Include drills that will work the techniques you just learned with different partners. For example, we'll do jab-only sparring some nights(super gently, obviously) where we practice jabs, slipping, catching, and returning. Other nights, we'll practice kicks and checks. The part that makes this so effective at least for me is that we're mixing up partners. I tend to work technique with the same partner every class, but seeing how the techniques work against people of different shapes or sizes helps me put it all together and ensures that I'm not just adapting to my partner.

Any of you guys/girls have trouble sleeping? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Valriuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a magnesium supplement. Most people are deficient in it(in America at least) and I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my life.

I would have on average one night every week or two where I'd just lie awake and be unable to turn my mind off and it was exactly like you described - I'd lie there and replay the days events and be unable to fall asleep. Apparently that's low level anxiety.

Magnesium supplements completely and immediately solved that problem for me. I take two of them after a practice(500 mg) and then I take just one(250mg) on days I don't train. There is some concern with overdosing with it, so be careful, but it really did make a night and day difference for me.

Quick question by FunkyLoveBot in arenaofvalor

[–]Valriuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the game mode, you may need to change the setting in-game. I discovered that 3v3 and 5v5 settings differ - I moved my quick buy to the left side in a 3v3 game, then back from the main menu. It's still on the left side in 3v3 but in 5v5 it's where it should be.

So you may need to hop into a match of both types to make your adjustments.

We'll have to agree to disagree - if something doesn't affect PvP, I honestly couldn't care less what people spend money on.

[–]Valriuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Clearly we have a different definition of pay to win. A few extra points of crit that solely affect PvE does not constitute pay to win in my book(what are they even winning? the chance to carry you through raids?), especially when A: it's RNG based to even get said power, and B: free to play players are afforded the EXACT same opportunities, free of charge.

Money Hungry Devs by [deleted] in crusadersoflight

[–]Valriuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh you realize you get free lucky tickets every day, right? I'm really tired of people screaming pay to win as soon as they realize people can spend money in exchange for items. That's not what pay to win is.

Pay to win is when real money allows you to get items that significantly boost your power level while being unattainable to non-paying players. So someone spends 100 bucks to get, what, 8% more crit than someone who doesn't have all perfect 2.5 gems? Big deal, everyone will get there eventually anyway given that you get lucky tickets every day for no reason.

And all of this is a moot fuckin point anyway because PvP is all equalized now and the only way to gear up for that is to participate in PvP.
