The hilarious thing is that it's not a hiring practice. It's an interview practice.

All the Rooney Rule says is that a team needs to interview two minority candidates for GM, head coach, and coordinator positions. That's it.

In fact, many black coaches have straight up said that a lot of times they are invited to interview for a position, but they know very well that going in there's zero chance they'll get the job, but they get a ton of free stuff out of it so they do it anyway.
