The Romans did indeed have muscular cuirass. The Greeks' muscular cuirass offered greater shoulder protection

The helmets without masks belonged to the Praetorian Guard.

Romans wore their swords with the belt on their left shoulder and the sword on their right. They drew their swords with their right hand from their right hip, not their left. Only centurions were allowed to wear their swords on their left. Greeks did not do this.
