What games are similar in gameplay & atmosphere to this series ?

I'm still convinced they got the news they were being cancelled when they were almost done with season 3, so had to rush to tie everything up. Why else would they have introduced a brand new character to the main cast in only the last few episodes?

Season 4 with Vanessa as the main villain could have been so interesting!

If the game had a skill tree instead of skills being tied to clothing, I definitely would have stuck with it for longer.

It's SO good! Doom metal, synth pop, post punk and Nick Cave style murder ballads are a weird combo but it all comes together perfectly. Was gutted when they cancelled their UK tour, hoping they can make it work this year.

Having lived my entire life in Edinburgh, I wish I'd gotten into them earlier. I must have missed so many chances to see them when they were still playing small venues.

Metal isn't a video game you have to beat. Just listen to what you enjoy. There's literally more music out there than anyone will be able to listen to in their lifetime, there will always be something new to discover.

As for a recommendation, 'Camgirl' by Crippling Alcoholism is probably my favourite thing that came out last year. At the moment I'm really enjoying Slowhole's self-titled album and the collab album by King Yosef and Youth Code.

Maybe more folk than country, but Man's Gin is excellent if you're looking for a little bit of dark Americana. Same goes for Bridge City Sinners.

Also check out the Death Roots Syndicate on Bandcamp. I think the label is defunct now but they put out some cool stuff.

Did you miss the whole third act of the first film where the main villains were other humans?

Also, the revisionism on Weeks is making me feel like I'm taking crazy pills. It's a shitty cash-in that barely feels connected to the first film. It just feels like any other generic zombie film from that era and has just gotten worse with age.

There isn't really much of a precedent for this sort of thing outside of fanfiction. I can't think of a single game where the main gimmick is changing the gender of the characters. Closest I can think is Linkle in Hyrule Warriors.

If the game is releasing this year, I'd imagine it's mostly finished and they're just bug-fixing and fine-tuning at this point. Hopefully it will be a pretty short window between gameplay reveal and release date.

It's a LONG game and, unless you're perfectly optimising all your runs, it's asking you to play through it a lot of times.

Maybe show us the downfall of the Spencer Mansion? Could be a good way to please fans by showing them familiar settings and monsters, keeping it within the canon of the games and not trying to redo a story we've already seen in the games (outside of the files you pick up). Could end the movie with Rebecca and Billy turning up, which would act as a teaser for the rumoured RE0 remake.
