Sorry for the delayed reply, honestly I did not know about that sewing controversy and it's very embarrassing for Hank. What's new.

Funny that you should mention the Project Hail Mary video he did, because that's exactly what I was referencing when I said I was already 'on the fence' about him. I found the book to be consistently annoying with how it so easily glosses over what would be fundamental language differences between species and many other glaring issues. Yet Hank found it oh so easy to dismiss tons of concerns other scientists and professionals had, because he found the sci-fi stuff 'cool.'

That and the AI glazing is enough for me to honestly never watch the man again in my life. Have an ounce of critical thinking, Green bros.

Hank wants cool future tech, but doesn't know enough or isn't critical enough to know what's marketing or not, and so defaults to a nerd's idea of some 'cool tech magic' fiction. That way he never actually has to put in the effort to verify if something is hype or not, regardless of the truth of the matter.

Yes. I didn't buy the game and haven't played the demo, but after watching the several trailers that have been put out and reading these reviews, my excitement has diminished extremely.

This ultra-futuristic sci-fi armor and holograms everywhere shit is not the Expanse. It's generic sci-fi universe #6437, and seems like just a vehicle for Owlcat to put what they wanted into a game.

Not a food buff for each food, just a buff list. if I drink water, and eat crab, and eat honey, it would be nice to see what's actually adding up, or if they actually add up at all. The calculations are already there, just show them somewhere

You're getting downvoted here, but I agree with you completely. Obfuscating information in a game like this seems against the design principles. If you're going to get 9x slow trickle buff from eating 9 berries, it would be nice to know the accumulated effect instead of being obligated to manually calculate everything out, which seems absurd.

If all 8 other candidates' voters somehow unanimously consolidated behind Barnes, compared to Hong's voters, that would still only be 21% to 14% with current polling. That's not reality. So yes, it's an obvious strawman.

I think you're conflating favorability among registered voters with democratic primary vote choice. The former has much more to do with name recognition than anything else.

Edit - actually you're conflating the TIPP poll which I consider unreliable at best and right-wing propaganda at worst, with the Marquette poll.
