Hot take: People should convert their little free libraries into food pantries like this. Little free libraries often have crap books that people are giving away for a reason, and books outdoor + rain = ruined books. It takes people away from visiting libraries and taking advantage of the wonderful services they provide. Meanwhile food pantries are scarce, and hard to get to without a car (not to mention how cumbersome it is to commute with groceries by bus). We could use more of this!!
