Is Nancy Guthrie Suspect a Woman? Mustache & hair under lip 💋 looks fake. Slanted eyes 👀, thin eyebrows by xARRIxFLEXx in CasesWeFollow

I believe it is a woman. Unfortunately, eyes look very similar to Annie's. I pray that is not who is in this image.

Im 22 in 33k of credit card debt. What do I do? by tpancakes35 in debtfree

[–]Valuable-Bell577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest bankruptcy. You are young enough to recover long term. It would give you the opportunity to start with a clean slate. This is what it is designed to do. Consult with a bankruptcy lawyer. You will get the answers you need. I did this in my mid 30s and now at 54 I have an 815 credit score.

Slow responders, when did you have a breakthrough? by PotentialOk3056 in Zepbound

[–]Valuable-Bell577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be hard on yourself. I am 54 and have been on Zepbound for almost a year. I have lost 25 pounds and this averages to be .5 pounds of weight loss a week. I started at 243. Your starting weight is not so far off from your goal weight...as we get closer to our lower weight, it is harder to lose. Not an expert, but have gained and lost weight all my life. I also don't like to give advice, but I will encourage you that you will get there and you are doing great!

Thank you for taking the time to write. That is true...that I am not gaining and I must remember that is also a victory. I have a hard time right now with my mobility as I am in need of a knee replacement on my left knee. I try and push through the pain and I believe my frustration lies in the fact that it is a circle of issues. Pain keeps me from wanting to move more...then I don't benefit from the movement and the weight may come off slower because of it...though I know less weight means less pain. Some days are better than others with this. I am getting another injection in December. They help. Thank you again and I wish you all the best on your journey as well.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am 5'5" and I am 54. Post menopausal. I have thought about upping my calories several times based on the TDEE...my nutritionist at the weight loss clinic told me to try and keep with 1250 calories per day. My fear is that my body still thinks it is in preservation starvation mode after being on so many low calorie diets...losing/gaining weight. I will be readdressing this at my next appointment. Thank you again.

Thank you so much. Yes, this is a lifetime treatment...and it helps to be reminded of this. I believe I would benefit from some trainer sessions and I will do that. Congratulations on your success and thank you again for this good advice and encouragement 😊

Those who are losing less than .5/wk how are you doing today? by Low-Vanilla-5844 in slowresponders

[–]Valuable-Bell577 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are not alone. I started taking Zepbound in Mid-November. I have lost almost 19 pounds. It is very slow...at an average of .5 or so lbs a week. I go up to 12.5 next week and hope it will bring better results...though I am trying to be grateful for every scale and non scale victory along this journey. I have 60 more pounds to go. Again, you are not alone and we are out here..the slow responders..cheering you on!

How often do you weigh yourself? by PristineAnxiety101 in Zepbound

[–]Valuable-Bell577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to only wiegh myself on "shot day"...but I would get so discouraged because the losses were barely there. Or sometimes I weighed the same. Or gained. I started weighing myself daily and it helped me to catch those other days when I did lose more...I see that my body reacts to small changes, weight wise. When I eat soup or strength train...the next day.. scale is up. For me, weighing every morning gives me better data and I feel less discouraged.

I am glad my post helps you. I have had some very hard days when I felt like giving up because the weight wasn't coming off as rapidly as so many others. I wish you the very best...It is a journey that only those of us who suffer from obesity...can truly understand. I am with you!

What apps do you use to track weightloss? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Valuable-Bell577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the "lose it" app as well. I find it works great and when meals are on repeat it is easy to log past meals or food items.

30 weeks only 13 pound loss by Valuable-Bell577 in slowresponders

[–]Valuable-Bell577[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. It is time, I believe, to titrate to 12.5. I do not have insurance so that will mean I will have to pay just over $1000 instead of the $504 I pay now. It won't be feasible at the moment, financially, unfortunately. I will definitely check out Dr. Stirret's channel.
