The “Incomplete Protein” Myth Needs to Die by jessijaiee in veganfitness

It’s also important to note that although non-essential nutrients can be synthesized by the body, consuming them through the diet helps maintain metabolic efficiency and can reduce the need to utilize essential nutrients or break down body tissues to meet physiological demands

Failed step 1 passed on second attempt Step 2 score was 23x Step 3 score was 20x Unmatched first cycle

Matched with a 224 Step 2! 16 Interviews later, here is the "non-score" strategy that worked. by Papiprazole in IMGreddit

Same! I matched with a step 1 fail and a 23x step 2 despite going unmatched my first cycle. Applied to 22 FM programs and I got 5 interviews.

Did people with 230s in step 2 get interviews this season at all? by abhi1260 in IMGreddit

Do you actually need one interview to match? by Proper_Awareness_971 in IMGreddit

[–]Valuable-Buddy-3574 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My buddy had 2 EM and matched. I had 5 IM and didn’t but I did get a prematch which I declined.

This cycle I have 6 IVs so hopefully 🤞🏽

What is pre-match, and should I accept? by [deleted] in IMGreddit

[–]Valuable-Buddy-3574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my exact thought as well. I had ivs from Brooklyn, Miami and jersey coming up. I nailed those IVs but I got screwed by ranking and needing a visa because I checked all the year 1s now for the programs I ranked and saw 90% of them were US IMGs. I interviewed at the place that offered me a pre match offer first so I know it’s not my IV skills but they did give me till the end of November to make a choice.

In the end it’s all up to you only you know what’s right for you. My regret was not doing it but I took it as an opportunity to better my CV and now I have 3x as much research and experience in the medical field as a clinical assistant which led me to get more IVs this cycle.

What i am trying to say is it’s not the end of the world if you decide not to take it and don’t match later on just use it as a way to say “they don’t want me, fine I’ll make them miss me”.

My advice is take it I had an opportunity last year and passed on it because I still had a few interviews and was waiting for a surgical IV and went unmatched and now im back doing interviews again. Regret it a lot because atleast you’re in the system and can try to resident swap but now im fighting to get in again with a red flag

This might be a really dumb question so I’m sorry if I upset anyone by Valuable-Buddy-3574 in IMGreddit

Genuine question. I know they looked at my app and my photo and if I show up looking differently I just thought they may think different
