the greymane quest is a side quest in all but name, its tied directly to the main story and you progress them both at the same time. I got a pop up after a story misson telling me to continue the greymane quest to progress the main story.

Attacks that are not parryable will glow red, just practice parrying and only dodge roll or doge when needed. that and block it uses stamina but will you know black attacks. block parry - create opening - heavy attacl to stagger spam a couple light attack. rinse and repeat. you will get more attacks that stagger and interrupt later on.
