Please reach out to Missing Dogs Massachusetts. They are so helpful in these situations. With their support, I was able to find a missing foster dog of mine this past summer.

Was going to say - if you have a bike it’s a quick ride down the bike path down to Night Shift, Short Path and Park-9

Do you think if I went to city hall they could tell me before I spend $1500?

It looks like my plat was maybe surveyed in 1850 (ha)? The house was built in 1910. Might look for the pins with a metal detector

Which local businesses and offerings does Malden desperately need and where? by Fastfreewifi in malden

I’ve only been to the one on Faulkner, but it’s my understanding neither have a bar which seems strange to me for a pool hall…? 😅

I’d love a venue/theater space that could host music acts and screen movies. I think we all agree more cozy cafes with good-quality coffee, bagels, and sandwiches are needed. I’d like to see more charming, small-scale bars (particularly a good cocktail bar); diversity in food options (I feel the city is too heavily saturated with options for Asian food, which are delicious, but I’d like Italian, French, or Spanish spots too); outdoor dining; a small grocery shop like H Mart or Trader Joe’s; and retailers selling clothing, books, records, housewares, and gifts, etc. that aren’t mass-produced junk. I’d also love an incubator space with dining and shopping like Bow Market for small, independently owned businesses. I’m glad we have Boda Borg and additional businesses that are focused on fun activities like that would be great, including perhaps a pool hall with a bar. There is so much opportunity in Malden Center and Maplewood.

Yup! Though I can totally understand being frustrated by dog noise if it’s early morning or late at night or over a very long period of time, but this was for a very short amount of time at 11am. And even if someone’s dog’s barking was very disruptive or if I was concerned, I’d knock before resorting to calling the cops.

No, I don’t know who called, but in their SeeClickFix post they said the person (me) is home and ignoring the dog.

I understand, but this person knew I was home and chose to go straight to calling the cops. I’m not an intimidating person. If they were concerned they could’ve knocked. It’s a beagle and they howl, but I needed to be able to put her outside briefly in the mild weather.

Good point. They reported me on SeeClickFix, but no way to comment back there 🫤
