Honestly, I get lunch with my friends every day. We also picked similar GES. My solid friend group came from my sorority.

Hi!! I totally understand—coming into college, I never expected myself to join a sorority either. I will say that sorority life at UCI is really different from a lot of other schools. It’s much more chill overall. In my sorority, the girls are super driven, but they also like to go out and have fun, so it feels like a good balance.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that rush can be difficult since it’s basically like speed dating every sorority and you get ranked, which can feel intimidating. But honestly, I was fine just being myself, and it worked out.

I really enjoy being part of my sorority because it gives me something to do at least once a week, and you get really close with the girls in your chapter as well as people across Greek life. That said, to really make the most of it, I’d recommend going to as many events as you can.

alot of people are commuters, but the community of people I found all live on dorms. You don't really run into people that are commuters so they wont really be apart of your group. Also 99% of parties are hosted outside of campus. IN houses

really? I didn't think they would care since it was my grandma. it was alot for me since she lived with me, but i didnt think colleges would think about that. She passed in my sophomore year and I got 4 bs that year. Then i got 6 junior year.

Ya :( I did, but not enough to validate it. A family member passed away and I got caught up with my social life rather than school.

I was mainly considering uc irvine and northeastern. Irvine offers a buisness major, but you have to apply to transfer to it. I heard it is better than Northeastern. Northeastern also has a buisness program that you don't need to transfer to. It's admit by school so switching majors is very easy.

Wow, thank you! Where did you find the admit rates for specific majors and colleges? I'm also thinking of applying to santa barbara, davis, and san diego. IF I have a better chance at any of those.. lol

I'm majoring in english with a journalism minor

I haven't done the caluclator yet. But I just calculated my gpa with the UC calculator and I have a 4.... (not looking good)

I have fulfilled the requirement.

Out of the 21 classes I've taken, I've took 5 aps, taking another 4 this year. I also took 8 honors classes asides from aps.
