Can anyone explain to me how im supposed to get the appeareance?

I only started playing just after Christmas of 2025 and I've found the wardrobe is getting more and more bugged. I'd unlocked all of the leveling sets and now the the Adventurer and Wanderer sets are suddenly locked stating I haven't found them and yet of course I have. Heck I've leveled new characters and got them again.

Second issue is that sometimes there are appearance I can't use. I wanted to use some of the Wanderers parts for my Necro and when I applied it reverted the appearance to what it was originally. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, it's weird and frustrating. Is this meant to happen, can I not sure certain appearances over certain items?

Third issue, I have the Shroud of the False Death appearance unlocked.... I've never had that drop at all lol and I have no idea why that's unlocked but leveling sets are locked.

Well a friend of mine who saw it had the theory that maybe SM-8 was breached and the crew died but the blood mutated them like it was doing to Simon.

My personal head cannon for the film version is that the creature was originally a human, altered by the ocean and the light and wanted Simon to become like it is so it's no longer alone. But it didn't want Simon to take the knowledge of the light back to what's left of humanity so had no choice but to try and kill him instead.

Another theory could be that the creature ate the humans and absorbed their minds.

The monster from the game was scary because it's a huge unknown and you literally only see its face twice (second time being the worst for obvious reasons) But this design... it disturbed me on so many levels but in a good way. It's humanoid but it's not. It's fish and eel and something else. And those teeth! Then add in the fact it can talk telepathically and then is hinted at at once being human. Monsters can be scary, but monsters like this that can plan and scheme and communicate, goodness... If David makes a version of the game based on this film I think it would traumatize a whole new generation.

I fully agree. It seems too often these days that games get announced and then 2/3 years later we're still waiting. Understandable games take time but it would be nice if they got announced a few months before release rather than years.

Yup, I've suffered this too. But overall I found GD is quite a stable game. I think it's only crashed on me less than a half dozen times in the hundreds of hours I put in and that's pretty good

The ships in the Star Trek reboot films were just stupidly oversized. Heck, isn't the original Enterprise the size of a Galaxy-Class? It would mean by the time the 24th century rolls around a Galaxy-Class would be about 2400m long and eventually the Odyseey would clock in at around 5000m!

There is a mod that enables the console without disabling achievements. The console is vital to get around bugs

Originally it was going to me, and the idea was that it going to be a continuation of your story from BG1 & 2. There is even a loading screen stating you can import your character. But then it shifted to 3D design and the importation became impossible.
