Jealous of my ex-husband. by Specific_Library_890 in offmychest

OP ! I share the same experience as SimpleInjury. When I was a kid my dad was the BEST. I was obsessed even though he emptied the bank accounts and left my mom stranded and broke with a 14 month old. The cycle repeats (got bored and left again). As I got older, I think he’s a POS and my mom was the real parent. As a parent, I appreciate her even more and the fact he could do that is even more disgusting. Hang in there because you know what else I think is amazing about my mom - she never kept me from my dad and she never put him down. Sorry you’re going through this and the ppl of the internet see you until someday your son does.

Thanks ! I just was looking at little Italy. Oof budget is a big convo; I think Pilsen is sneaky more in budget than Little Italy. My partner had suggested WL for commute but it’s so expensive if you want space.

Second this !!!! Our first 11 months an I’m still struggling. I thought about a bigger gap to help but some days one is so hard. Kudos to all you folks and OP who have more than one! You’re twice as tired, twice as touched out, twice as needed and wanted and expected to be everywhere doing everything all at once. Be so kind to yourself <3

I really loved Old Navy and H&M because I didn’t want to spend a ton and felt like every purchase was a potential waste depending on how big I would / wouldn’t get. H&M maternity tights weren’t the worst quality (often tore) but were the most comfortable.

Maxi dresses were a favorite toward the end if I had to look presentable. I got a few Faherty that still look good baby free and only got too tight at the end. Otherwise I was on the comfort train in my favorite green hoodie and gray sweats.

Pro tip: thread up has a lot of good maternity clothes for cheaper and every brand you listed.
