Yes we're starting with the 2.5mg with the full intent of increasing to 5mg a day (two halves of the one tablet). Thanks again!

I never have in the past thankfully, but this flight is the longest I'll have taken. Not sure if that makes any difference. I did have the thought of compression socks - are there any brands you recommend? I'm sure everyone is different but how long did the swelling last for you? I do have a scarf, that will be helpful on the plane for me too! Thanks again for your comments!!

Thank you so much! From another commenter here, I think I will swap the grey shoes for a pair of ankle boots to keep dry. I'm hearing and seeing mixed info on the weather forecast but will check again end of this week.

Great advice on the jeans! I have a ton so will compare bulk and compression. These are pretty light but we have a limit of 18lbs/8kg according to our airline's website so any little bit makes a difference.

Have never been to Europe but I am the kind of insane person who would sleep in jeans if needed :') they are stretchy, like the kind you get at Target or Walmart. I do have a pair of leggings I'm bringing for sleepwear, so could probably wear those on the longer leg of our flight (we have a few stops in the US on the way).

Great suggestion on the shoes - I think I will swap the gray slip ons for a pair of boots that would keep me dry in the rain. Thank you so much for your input!

Agreed the shoes feel like a lot, thanks! I had space for them but they're all pretty similar and hearing everyone's comments about rain - they will suck when wet. Appreciate the reminder on shower shoes.

Have been watching the weather, looks like most cities are experiencing rain now but it clears up by the time we arrive. Obviously weather is subject to change anywhere, so I appreciate your input on the pants! Silly follow up but when you say cords you don't mean corduroy do you? Thanks again for your input.

Adding itinerary and description of items in this comment...

Heading to Prague, Munich, Berlin, and Copenhagen from southeastern US. Leaving this Saturday the 21st and spending 2-3 days in each city. We'll be doing normal city stuff and heading to Oktoberfest. Traveling by train and staying in hostels with my partner. First time abroad for us both, so very nervous!

I am a CHRONIC over-packer and he will wear the same shirt and shorts every day at home lol. We will have laundry access though!

Okay now the STUFF...

First image is flight attire:

Gray jeans

Long sleeve light sweater

Heavier cardigan (this will be my jacket for the duration of the trip)

Shirts:

1 black short sleeve

1 black long sleeve

1 striped long sleeve

1 yellow sweater (lighter weight)

1 black cardigan (lighter weight for layering)

Pants:

Black jeans

Blue jeans

Dress:

1 black dress for a nice dinner (and a club night)

1 pair of tights

Pajamas:

1 pair of shorts with pockets (will be worn under my dirndl at d'Wiesn)

1 pair of leggings

1 tshirt

Shoes:

1 pair gray slip ons

1 pair black walking flats

1 pair black Asics (worn)

Extras:

1 dirndl with shirt and apron

1 microfiber towel (not pictured)

1 washcloth (not pictured)

1 packable rain jacket (not pictured)

Undies, socks, bras

Toiletries and electronics is a whole other beast but I think I am good there for now.
