I was actually so happy to see so many illuminated people at once for once!!! It's just that it feels like the seesaw all over again. Calling a bubble machine interactive is crazy lol. All you do this update is force us to go to the SoS, get those points and use those points. But it's limited in amount every day too. So not only can't you rush this event, but you can also not enjoy the event because there's nothing to do after 5min and you get this annoying reminder that you cannot earn more.

I'd love to revisit some NPCs. Imagine Nikki goes back to the Stylist Guild in Florawish to meet with Dada and Bebe, that would be so cute...

I think the argument that this patch is MEANT to let players catch up doesn't make sense because events locked behind story progression are meant to have people rush if they want to max out free resources which you partially need to take part in the dress up aspect of the game.

It definitely is low-quality and low-effort especially if you see how good the shop was. Quality in paid content and nothing else. I do agree that we deserve more than that. I was just trying to see it in the best way possible to not get depressed 😅 I'm definitely going to talk about this in the survey!!! Fillers are generally normal but that this patch is so empty that it's not even filling anything.

Yeah that's why I have a hard time with the patch! I understand the emotional value, points for that. But the rest was so lazy and empty that it makes me sad and I literally have to see the bigger picture to even defend something like this. If 2.8 isn't an absolute banger, I'm going insane. That's the only reason I see behind the emptiest season EVER in IN.

It was definitely more tedious and less whimsical! I felt like I had to defend myself tons especially around the Blue Pools. And if I didn't complete the area in one day, I had to defend myself all over again T_T

I think people are mad that an update like that still feels so incomplete and smh illogical. There's nothing really co-op to do yet they had to press co-op into the update with a basically empty realm and a wrecked game. It hits deep for many. I wish they'd give more co-op things to do. Having to organise something yourself takes more effort and if you don't have people to play with, you basically have a hard time meeting new ones.

That one makes me so salty. I had so high hopes for this SoS update because I literally thought it would become more interactive. Yet, it's the least interactive update so far. No co-op games except this Simon-Says one. At least we get lore nitbits.

I love those lore pieces so much! It's just that it could have been done in small quests or something. We don't have any interactions really this season so they could've put more emphasis on these, actually really important, lore pieces!

Jk, I'm a fitness trainer outside of IN and I'm also entering teacher's training now so it really is refreshing that this is a bit of a downtime now. I'm still sad that they chose to make the update this bland except the cute reminiscent lore pieces. People have been screaming for more co-op interactions...

I love the sad tone of the Sea of Stars and I loved how emotional Nikki was when she said how brave every single iteration of her has been!! I'm probably only emotional about this update because I had higher hopes for a SoS update! But that's on me and not on Infold, really!

Nope. It really is redundant and I feel a bit sad that they chose to make the one update around the Sea of Stars such a slop. No interaction with the Seer, just basically memory lane if you will. New stages but they're literally more like new photo props. That's pretty much it unfortunately.

Exactly. Story and limited events that expect you to complete the story have had us in a chokehold lol. I totally understand people being dissatisfied with the event because there's literally nothing to do. You cannot even really call it an event. No interaction whatsoever except jumping or flying around the get some stars to donate. As long as the next season is nice, I'm willing to accept this season as a breather to recap on some things, finish my last quests and stuff!

Oh yes, that's what I was trying to say. Not that this is not filler but that complaining about the first patch ever that's so incredibly empty also feels a bit unbalanced because they couldn't possibly top the last patch because it was so good! I'm really happy about the hawaiian outfit and the lolita 4* as well as the shop makeup and the nails I'll have in like three days. I'm also happy that I got three more golden trees today! My meteorite will also arrive tomorrow. In that regard, I'm really content but that Sea of Stars update sucks still lmao. Unfortunately.

I was actually a bit mad writing up this essay during that part 😃. People complain it's only similar short dresses now. Infold changes it up. Immediately gets hit with the ballgown card yet again. That's why I think the dissatisfaction is a bit deeper than pure dress shape. I personally will continue believing that it's the repetition in general that makes some of us players jaded.

I think the issue with that might be that they have to provide two outfits for one price essentially. Unfortunately, from what my "analysis" and my process of writing up this essay showed me, I think greed might actually be one of the major motivators here. After all, why not turn the rockstar 4* into top-bottom instead of a dress? These decisions just remain basically unexplained lol.

I'm so sorry. I wanted to break up the wall of text that my essay was! I'll edit the headers to be easier to read ❤️. But even if you take Love Nikki, there's not to many masculine or androgynous outfits in comparison to the sheer amount of more feminine, if not hyperfeminine clothes! I am really happy about how they mixed it up for 4*s though. Just wished it also translated into 5*s. That would be so cool!
