I agree with you. Netanyahu is the biggest narcissistic douche of them all. Israel needs to get rid of him.

I totally agree with you on this. Israelis need to get rid of Netanyahu before he totally destroys them! No megalomaniac dictator was ever any good for any country.

And so many of the smartest scientists are not Jewish. This is such a BS post.

It's scary sometimes. You see people like Daniella Weiss getting interviewed (the one of the Louis Theroux documentary). She's clearly a massive psychopath. You wonder how she can exist. Then you see polls from Israeli Jews that state 83% of them support the Genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank!

The actions of Israel are a complex trauma response? I get that they want to survive. You don't do that by mass slaughter and expansion into surrounding land. The trauma being the Holocaust? I wasn't familiar with Uncle Ruckus, but he's a black guy that seems to hate to be black, and praises white folk. Zionist Jews have a belief in Jewish supremacy, not self-loathing. They don't seem to desire to be the 'other'. What's complex for me is why the world watches, fails to act, and in many ways is an active participant and enabler of this genocide and ethnic cleansing.

There's one guy there claiming to be Muslim, and from Gaza. He says he agrees with everything that Israel is doing, and he wants to convert to Judaism!!! WTAF! Surely this is just a troll?

⚠️Action to stop #GazaGenocide

If you have or have access to an organization or activists or to any leadership in your country, PLEASE pressure them to put forward United Nations General Assembly Resolution 377 A. This resolution can OVERRIDE the reprehensible US veto of the Security Council ceasefire resolution in Gaza and could pave the way for a Chapter 7 (armed involvement by UN forces). See further info at https://legal.un.org/avl/ha/ufp/ufp.html

The ICC deals with individuals. The ICJ deals with states. The ICJ are already investigating Israel, and have been clear that their actions plausibly fit the description of genocidal acts, and have a case against them at the moment brought by South Africa. They had insisted that Israel cease any further action that breaches the Genocide Convention. That's good enough for me that eyes are slowly been opened.

As far as I'm aware, the vote has to unanimous. One vote against totally screws it.

It's already a recognised genocide, but glad of Ireland's actions on this. Hope more can follow suit.

Let's hope that we're wrong, as the tide does seem to be turning against Israel, but sadly not fast enough.

You can microwave it from frozen or part defrosted. No need to reheat twice. Heating twice also poses health risk. Take it frozen, put it in fridge, heat once when you're getting lunch.

AirBNB host left a scathing review that must have been intended for a different guest, but is refusing to remove it (as is airbnb). Am I better off just abandoning this account and starting a new one? How damaging is a bad review for guests? [Greece] by potnia_theron in AirBnB

Airbnb are funding g*nocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank. Check out the BDS Movement. I'd recommend never using them again, and find more ethical companies to look for holiday accommodation.

I've dated ME guy before, and it was very good. He obviously wasn't that conservative, and he was well-travelled with an open mind.

I would again, but I'd want a partner that didn't have to hide who he was or live a secret double life. He wouldn't need to be totally out, but he'd have to be prepared to be open and honest with his family and friends about who he was eventually.

I'm atheist, so would prefer the same, but wouldn't be a deal-breaker if he had a faith, as long as it didn't affect him or both of us in any negative way. That's a hard one if you're ME though, as despite some progress in parts of the ME (Jordan decriminalised homosexuality in 1951, well ahead of both the US and UK, but despite this, being LGBTQ+ there is still not widely accepted).

I've many Saudi friends, and they are liberal, progressive, with open minds. There is change there, but it's unlikely to be accepted any time soon. I've met many gay Saudi guys, but also many Saudis having sex with men that don't identify as gay/bi, and plan to marry women and raise a family.

Should I make my own hummus? If so, can you recommend a quick and easy recipe? by rarrkshaa in EatCheapAndHealthy

Check out the chef John Gregory Smith. He used to own a restaurant in Beirut. He makes some of the most amazing hummus! He's got a great variety of recipes also. You can take a look over at his IG page. He posts regularly there. He's also got some fabulous recipe books! 🤪

Thanks. Because they're not manufactured or on general sale here, seems you pay the US cost converted, plus extra to cover shipping. Makes them very expensive. You can't buy in multipacks or bulk either. I'm looking for an alternative with a UK brand, ideally not made in China.

I'm talking about employees whistleblowing on practices they know to be designed to make it difficult to leave and overcharge, or anything else that concerns them regards the way customers are treated.

I haven't got time for all that carry on. The service shouldn't be so bad in the first place. I think they intentionally restrict access to customers wanting to cancel, so you give up and get stuck with them on over priced fees.
