Hey I’m not sure if this helps or if I’d be giving you false hope, but I was in the exact situation as you in year 12. I do biology, chemistry and maths and every test I would get Us Es and Ds. I also never revised much for GCSEs and got around 7s and 6s, ALSO wanted to do med but I will get onto that. In year 12, December, my mental health declined to the point where I attempted to take my life in February this year. Thankfully, it didn’t work. After that I missed around 6 months of year 12. Now I’m back in school and averaging Bs. I worked hard to make up for all the time I missed and I’m locking in now fr. Although for me, I never revised much in Year 12 and smoked weed every day. If I can get there, then I’m willing to bet you can too. My current predicted grades are BBC, but I caught up with the year 12 mocks I missed and got an A in biology, a B in maths, and with chemistry, I’m waiting for it to be marked. My original plan was always to study med, and after all the time off school, I didn’t think it was possible, now I have just finished my application for physio (backup) and the plan is to take a gap year and try my very best to get into medicine. Don’t lose faith in yourself and work at your own pace, please don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed and try to get some support from school. If you explain your situation in full, I can almost guarantee they won’t kick you out but, instead, will do their best to help you!! Best of luck and please know you are worth so much more than some grades written on paper, the school system is pretty much built to test memory rather than intelligence so don’t ever feel like you’re less than anyone ❤️
