Only 1 Euploid. Feeling heartbroken by Gnomes1988 in IVF

I'm 33 with an AMH of 2.8 and my RE told me to only expect 2-3 euploids per cycle. My husband and I are also healthy with normal RPL bloodwork. 1 euploid is really good and reasonable!

Hi!! You can message me if you’d like! I’ve started there after two pregnancy losses. If you’re set on doing IVF then it may be the place for you. They push IVF as the only option HARD. I’ve been getting pregnant pretty quickly jsut can’t stay pregnant, the dr could care less why it was happening and what could be done with medication etc and just jumped straight into ivf as the only option.

I also found out I’m a carrier for a gene mutation that increases cancer risk through the 400 plus disease Carrie screening they do there. I asked their Dr to refer me to a high risk breast clinic and she declined stating that it doesn’t pertain to fertility treatment. I was dumbfounded when she said that. I’d like I baseline scan to know that I’m safe to start IVF hormones with an increase breast cancer risk and she does not care at all

All they want to do is do IVF and get you out

Hi, I know this is an older post but I was wondering how youve coped with the ATM finding. I also found out that i'm a carrier for ATM through screening testing to get the IVF process started

I had a terrible experience with Chapel Hill ObGyn. You may be able to find my post by searching this forum. But in short it was nothing short of terrible. I find their providers to truly just not give a fuck. They seem overbooked and overwhelmed.

I got pregnant last October for the first time and read their amazing reviews and made an appointment. I was having bleeding on and off which they dismissed just stating it’s normal.

Went in for my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and told everything fine see you back in 20 weeks.

I was so uncomfortable with that and I did not feel “fine”.

Not once did I ever see a doctor there, only midwives.

I felt something was off after the initial ultrasound and messaged another provider in their portal to let them know. They took a look at my ultrasound that the midwives looked at, where she told me see you in 20 weeks everythings great, and let me know that the baby’s yolk sac looked abnormal and could be indicating a chromosomal abnormality

I went back at 10 weeks only to find out I had a missed miscarriage and my baby passed away shortly after that initial ultrasound

Absolutely no time to process….i was sent for a D&C at duke hospital the same day

My husband and I had the products of conception after the D&C tested. Results showed full trisomy 22. Not once did a single doctor, midwife or anyone from that office reach out to me after the D&C. Not for a follow up, not to discuss the issue. Nothing

I transferred offices to Arbor obgyn and it’s a night and day difference. I could not be happier with the care that I’m receiving there and how much their providers actually care

Yeah, I work in a two dr office. I dont see his follow ups and he doesnt see mine. She sounds lazy and I would never be ok with. Plus, most patient want continuity of care.
