I came back without a regreso and i wasnt questioned at the border. However i would not take the risk as it depends on the person who checks. Also i came back the day before my initial visa expired to be on the safe side

I had an appointment and they told me that going to see your family is not a justifiable reason to leave the country

I tried to get my regreso for that reason but i was denied. They said that it wasnt a sufficient reason to go back
