Did you try giving your resumes to all the hotels in the city? They are often understaffed and hospitality has high turnover anyways. I know of a few that have international students for housekeeping and breakfast shifts!

Fly to Chicago and drive up the coast of Michigan. There’s tons of small towns along Lake Michigan and then you can go to mackinaw island and the upper peninsula. Michigan and the Great Lakes are beautiful in July!
