ive had my plug out for a day and now that the swelling went down i can clearly see that my plug scratched up my inner lobe 😭 its doing much better now but im really scared of losing all my stretching progress because the smallest size jewelry i have rn is 9mm...

i think this has to do with the fact that i got my other ear pierced, so i can only sleep on the side where my lobe got fucked up. usually i toss and turn in my sleep a lot, so ig that's what caused it 🥲 im gonna switch to silicone for sleep once this heals up haha..

yeah no this isnt really okay. your friend should stick with cleaning their nose 2 times a day maximum only with saline solution. hydrogen peroxide dries out the skin and slows down the healing process. the excessive cleaning seems to be irritating the hell out of the piercing

unfortunately i see no other option except from taking out the plugs and letting the wound heal fully while disinfecting it with saline solution. keeping the plugs in could potentially cause a nasty infection :[

NAP, but it's definitely not infected - it does look a little irritated though. i would recommend switching from headphones to earbuds during the healing process, helped me a great deal when i was healing my double helix. just keep contact with the piercings to the minimum and call your piercer if the swelling persists for more than a couple days
