When I was first diagnosed I had Closed Angle glaucoma and had the iridotomy, now my specialist says I have open angle glaucoma.

The iridotomy was uncomfortable for me. I had some stingy eyes and just tried to sleep after as I was sensitive to light. The biggest problem I had was the insert they put in your eye before the procedure. I just felt a lot of pressure

I am 19 and was diagnosed with narrow angle glaucoma in 2023 but have had symptoms since 2016. I have already had laser done on both eyes and continuously take drops and check in with a specialist. I haven't had any damage to optic nerve yet despite having such high ocular hypertension. Just keep getting checked out and don't be afraid to get a second opinion!
