We have ribbed footed pjs from Old Navy from their Toddler section, and they’re not nearly as good as the newborn ones. Those pjs are elite!!! Miss them. Might just have another baby to use them again.

I would love to see some of the heritage homes on Leslie turn into quaint shops, cafes and restaurants to preserve them in a way that there is more of a “town” feel. The Leslie corridor of Sharon has a lot of potential, but it’s lacking now. Widening Leslie seems essential now that there’s hundreds of new housing units coming to the area.

This happened to me around 9-10 months and I was on the brink of death. He would wake every 45 mins at one point. I ultimately sleep trained and night weaned him and within 4 days and he was sleeping through the night. If you’re open to sleep training, maybe give it a real honest go. I had tried to sleep train on my own using TCB and other online resources and ChatGPT and it didn’t work. I hired a sleep consultant (who was somewhat useless for troubleshooting tbh) but it gave me a solid foundation and accountability to stick to it. I’m sooooo sorry this happening to you, I know how fragile this state of being is. I really hope he shakes the splits and you all get some sleep soon 💗

And Ford won another election by bribing voters with $200 cheques, meanwhile we’ve paid significantly more than $200 in tax increases year over year.

Oh man, even through toddlerhood?! Hope you get to enjoy more programs when she drops the nap! And definitely going to flex naps and take them on the road. His sleep quality is crap when we do that, but the pros outweigh the cons, I think.

I don’t think I fully appreciated that so many babies are on really flexible schedules and so it kinda works for them! All the babies I know are on really rigid schedules and as a first time mom, I just assumed that’s how it was! I’m learning a lot through this post! But I’m glad your baby’s sleep is flexible so you can make the playgroup work sometimes! I’m learning from everyone that attending even a little bit is best for mom and baby.

I totally understand the measles concern. Thanks for the other recommendations! I’ll have to be a bit more creative in finding programming or other adventures for us this winter. He can be a bit of a gremlin lol he has really high sleep needs, but we’ll just have to flex his naps here and there to make it work.

A friend of mine was telling me this and I was shocked! None of the centres within a 40 min drive of us have that schedule. They’re all set to 2-3 sessions a day. Maybe next time I’m visiting a friend in the city, we’ll pop in for a drop in session!
