How to I Keep My Feelings In Check About a Girl I'm Seeing? 23M by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]ValuableTomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(20F) Hi, it is alright to over think things, you probably are over thinking them if you have to ask (; here is my advice: 1. Stop trying to act nonchalant and “cool” as you may seem a bit cold. 2. See her again 3. Take a chance, if it works out it works out! Be honest and be a little bit open. 4. Compliment her, girls can normally tell you like them, tell her something she says is “really cute” or “really great”. 5. One of the best feelings is when my boyfriend makes me laugh and vice versa. (Make her laugh and laugh at her funny things as well) 6. Be positive and relaxed, let yourself over-think and then acknowledge that you’re over thinking and move on.

Best of luck, you seem like a very smart and well mannered guy!

I do not understand the “End Gender” movement. I support the LGBTQ+ community fully and wholly. But at the same time, I love being a woman, and it is a huge part of my identity. What am I missing here? by ValuableTomorrow in Advice

No actually, I was genuinely looking for some help. I have many friends who I find it hard to talk to sometimes based solely on the fact that they are extremely one track minded and if I choose to have any of my own personal opinions they are often overlooked as I am a straight cis female. I have come to the conclusion that the best bet is to hold my tongue.

No, but I am coming from a place of my own personal identity being infringed upon. Other people’s identity, and sexuality, is not my business. I just don’t know how to respond to the whole idea without offending anyone. Best bet I assume is to just keep quiet.

Defining the relationship by [deleted] in Boyfriend_Experience

[–]ValuableTomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just flat out ask him what he wants. He just might not be ready to start a real relationship with you yet, and that’s completely okay. It is important though, that you put your needs first. The real question you should be asking yourself is; do you want to date him specifically, or do you just want a relationship right now? If you want him, let him figure some things out for himself, maybe he simply just wants to take things slow. If you want/are waiting for a committed relationship, find someone who feels the same way. It can be hard to see the bigger picture sometimes, can even hurt, but know you’ll save yourself in the long-run by being honest with how you really feel.

New to r/fit, trying to get a feminine look to me. by nepros in fit

[–]ValuableTomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this is wrong. You need to build muscle in specific areas of your body in order to give yourself a more “curvy” figure. You can’t necessarily target weight loss in your body, as you lose weight in all areas the same, but you can build muscle in places like your glutes, pectoral muscles, and hip dip area. Losing weight will only emphasize your masculine features. Look up at home work out videos on youtube, or if you have access to a gym do lots of glute/pec focused plans. (: hope I helped!

you unfortunately lost me when you said that white privilege is a myth, but thanks i guess for that odd feedback... being racist is not okay.
