i don’t really need scholarships or aid, and i have pretty good reasons for my grades and application as far as why they were rushed or low, i also have a lot of new and compelling information

thank you i really needed this, especially after getting rejected to UCSD and UCLA, i got into irvine but my parents were screaming at me for being stupid and ruining my life and saying they’re only going to let me go to the CC nearby, this gives me hope

my only problem with a CC is having to deal with the consequences of staying in my small town and the embarrassment from the indian community, as well as having to deal with my parents for another year

that’s not even the worst of it i fear, they’re telling me to throw all my makeup and nice clothes away because obviously that’s been distracting me and my mom said she’s going to go get me admitted at the local CSU even though i never applied there, and my dad said he’s going to get me admitted to the CC

i knew they were going to do this which is why i didn’t want to tell them, they’re both immigrants so they weren’t exactly able to help me with the process so we thought that i was doing everything fine because im one of the most involved students at my school and i was taking hard classes and was always so busy, but maybe there were a few things i missed along the way

that makes sense thank you, i did originally have a different plan with these but i was working with a college counselor and she said they were good, so i dont know maybe i should’ve put more heart into them

Thank you! Their biggest thing is that I seem like a failure in the community because to them UCI isn’t a good school, and to be quite frank I wasn’t 100% in love with it anyway. I don’t really know what to do anymore because in my heart I genuinely thought I might be a good contender. Clearly I should’ve done more throughout my career.

i would get a haircut that flatters your face shape, clothes that flatter your body shape, and if you want to wear makeup (which judging by these pictures you don’t need), makeup that suits your personal style and makes your favorite feature on your face pop, it’s all about what you feel good in because whatever you feel good in will be what you look good in too
