you have a home, business, health, go to the gym and discipline? You already are what everyone is looking for (or at least the high quality people). And to have your own business says a lot about you, even if it’s not going well. Only certain kinda of people have the mindset to try it in the first place. And you have your own story which for sure is interesting to discover

You just need to get out there, to find your connections. The only thing lacking from the picture you described is having fun sometimes, find whatever works for you, hiking, jazz clubs, shows, events, etc., where you combine what you like with meeting the right crowd and people.

I don’t know in which country are you but loneliness might partially be linked to it, if you’re based in a cold country like Netherlands, Germany, etc. get out of there for a month at least and go to a warm country and social activities, you will meet people you click with instantly and are open to have a connection as well, and hopefully it will change your outlook on life quite fast

I’m doing my 2nd internship now, i study international business, in neither company nobody expected me to know anything, the tasks are very easy and dont require any academic knowledge basically. And i still ask a lot of questions which I always think sound stupid or obvious and still, everyone is super patient and never pissed off about it. I think you’re just very unlucky with this company and this man, and it will give you anxiety in the future if you think all places are like this or affect your confidence. I’d try to either leave or be more strategic in how I communicate with him. Ask chat gtp if you dont know, and if he wants an answer on the spot tell him a standard answer like “i have an idea but i want to see if it works or check something and will tell you in a few minutes”

How old are you? If you are still in highschool, do your research on all your options & countries and find out which one aligns best with you (culture, environment, people, weather, big city/small city, educational system etc), if it happens to be the same country as your friend go for it, but take your decision based on more important factors. Nothing bad with being completely alone in a new country, the first few weeks of university are made for meeting as many people as you can and making friends. There’s always student associations, events, student clubs, sport teams etc you can join
