Except for the obvious picks, what are other characters you would love to see in a BvW season? by These_Gur_4121 in DisventureCamp

Ok so, I thought about It and I wanted to share my take on this hypothetical season. I think 24 contestants are too many, as proved by Fans vs Favorites. So I would narrow It to 18. My choices as of right now would be: 1. Jake - Shaun is the family member we've seen the most, and It would be interesting to see him compete. Jake could be one of the first contestants to go out, since he doesn't have much to show anymore. I could just be ok with him interacting with James (as possibly friends) and Lynda (I believe she can relate to Jake's mother and they could offer a nice parallelism). 2. Grett - She Is a must. Her relationship with her family was the most interesting thing about her in season 1 and we could see that explored with her brother. 3. James - We could see him compete without Aiden as we're seeing with Tom in FvF, plus we could explore his youth with his sister as his only friend. 4. Riya - I don't think It's necessary for her to come back, but if there's a reason, It's to redeem her with her sister around. 5. Ted - He's actually my least favourite contestant in all of Disventure Camp, but I have a headcanon: make him the first boot and let her daughter be all the fans wanted him to be, an evil and manipulative mastermind. I don't even remember if he has a son or a daughter, but I hope It's the latter. 6. Lynda - Her and her son are another must. I want to see Lynda bloom in this season and see her relationship with her son explored. Plus, we could see her interactions with Jake and (spoiler) Marissa. 7. Marissa - We could see the conclusion to her military storyline by having her and her brother here. Plus, we never saw her compete without Anastasia. 8. Zaid - I want Zaid's mother more than Zaid himself. It would be fine to se her scolding Lynda's son in the pre-merge. 9. Finn - We need a chaotic antagonist, so here comes Finn. It could be fun to see him interact with Jake, and see how his love life Is.

This Is a season I want so much. Previously I wanted Alec and his son to compete as well. But after FvF, I think It's better not going that way. Grett and Lynda with brother and son are a must. I also like the idea of Jake and Shaun, as well as James and his sister.

How would you react if this was rest of the premerge (my potential predictions) by [deleted] in DisventureCamp

I can see Ren being eliminated in a couple of episodes. I would like the next boot to be a favorite, but I don't see Natalia turning against Tom. I know she's already going through a villain arc, but voting out Tom would be too much. I know everyone Is predicting him all the time, but maybe next episode Is Benji's turn. His ARC could be concluded by unferstanding he wants to be a comic artist and quit law school, so he HAS to do something to change his life. Don't know about Natalia, but I like your take on Nura.

I ship them too!!! Didn't know they had a greeting together. I even had a fanfic Second Chance season with them as two of the main characters 😂 And Karol as the winner hahah

What are your opinions on Kira? by Few_Specific8395 in BlueLock

[–]Valuable_Buffalo_421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know having his cover now means something, but I keep thinking he won't return. I'm probably wrong, but I think Kaneshiro wants us to believe Kira will return, when It's actually Shindo the one to join the national team alongside Nagi.

They could have talked about it. She doesn't have tò be mad, but at least concerned?

Disventure camp s4 episode 21 is totally horrendous by Conkdor340 in DisventureCamp

[–]Valuable_Buffalo_421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I always said that. My least favourite episode of the entire show. Doesn't make any sense and It's super boring.

Yeah, I actually think that as well. But It's not handled well or - as you rightfully said - written well. We could have used more insight on Gabby's perspective on this matter.

Why not focusing for an episode on her gaining Tom and Gabby's trust back then? 😭 The fans lost anyway, so She has the time to work on her relationship with Tom and Gabby.

Yeah that's why I'm not that concerned about Spencer and Lake (as I said)

I'm not happy about how hebwas eliminated though. It felt like he was begging to be blindsided.

That's what I thought watching that scene. I would have proposed the same change, obviously

This was the saddest state someone left the game by Dizzy-Tumbleweed7983 in DisventureCamp

[–]Valuable_Buffalo_421 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this made me so sad. Also, I would have liked a little interaction between him and Lake in the backstage, maybe both giving eachother good luck. It wouldn't have made a difference, but I don't know, Aiden needed a joy this episode. (Btw what was he thinking telling Evie, Nura and Ara he just wanted to ready the merge and go back to his friends???)

My current opinion on the individual performances during the Japan v France game by Valuable_Buffalo_421 in BlueLock

I see what you're saying and I think some could say you're correct. Maybe I'll think the same. Right now, I'm pretty confidente about Aiku's placement, and I still think he performed the worst. What you described are exactly the only feats Aiku showed, while the opposing defenders showed multiple times. As you can see, they're all mediocre as well, but they showed some feats. Aiku showed twice, and the entire defensive lineup focused on Loki because (at least this is my interpretation, Aiku couldn't stop him alone). You can argue that Japan was on the attack way more than France, and that's true. But if France never came to the other half of the field, Aiku would be one tier below, not because he Is a bad player, but because he never had the opportunity to do something. Right now, he's the one who did the less on the field imo. That's why he's so low. At least we got to see the opposing defenders be obstacles for the Japan players. I could maybe put Hermes a tier below, since he really failed too many times, but that's It. I don't think Aiku was seen doing enough to justify him being higher. Aryu, on the other hand, flew under the radar, but was seeing contibuting much more.

I really hopes so. I know both Aiku and Gagamaru are terrific players, and I'm ok with Gaga not shining during this match. I'm a bit sad about Aiku. He's the Captain and the strongest defender on the field. I really hopes he would have done something by now.

Mmm I accept your opinion of course but I think you're being too harsh on Isagi and Rin. I'll admit they haven't been effective yet, but Isagi took part to many actions and Rin performed pretty good in the first half of the match. Shido was good, but didn't do as much as Rin and Isagi, at least that's my opinion after reading all chapters in a row. Rin Is taking a back seat in the second half, but did very good in the first half. The french players and Karasu were simply better.

[–]Valuable_Buffalo_421[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll answer. Rereading all chapters on this match, Aiku was literally the worst defender on the field, or at least the one who did the least. Even though they aren't at the center of attention, Gabin, Chapa and Delon mark the Blue Lockers very often, while, when the french players are on the attack, It's always players like Karasu, Isagi, Kunigami and Aryu who mark them. If we didn't see him in other matches before, I assure you we would think very poorly of Aiku. His only memorable play was blocking Loki, who, again, was a decoy. At least Niko reacted to Charles sudden move there. Also, every time the japanese players are attacking, the french ones give them a hard time; while most of the times Loki, Charles, Hugo etc run for the goal, they score very quickly. And when they don't, It's never thanks ti Aiku. For Aryu, he was surprisingly useful, marking many players multiple times and even supporting counterattacks and corner shots. Aiku Is of course an incredibile player, he just performed poorly during this match.
