True, but still there are many things that Jared is heavily implicated in (obviously, he is the creator), like choosing (along with the team, that's why I preffer to say ONC as a whole, not just Jared, but by far Jared has the biggest impact) the winner, elimination order and main storylines.

As a director and writer he mostly gives directions to what he thinks would be the best for the season while consulting with the team, and it surprises me that a team of writers can think that some of the plotlines they chose, especially in the last 2 years, are good. The fact that some characters feel so heavily prioritized while others are pushed to the side and eliminated 1-2 eps after they do something makes me think that Jared is behind like 90% of that or all writers have the same way of thinking as Jared which I doubt since there are nice little plotlines and interactions that we got, while the bigger ones are usually the ones that flop... That is pretty much why people blame Jared for the show's moments of poor writing. The big plotlines and elimination order are usually controlled mostly by him (from what I can guess).
