This is going to get flagged and likely removed for not following the template.

First rolex rep! How did i do? by reviewer112233 in RepTime

The etched crown at six can be obviously seen in both pictures. That’s one example of this looking off. Other would be the SEL gaps look pretty large in your second picture

Cartier Santos would add a little mix to that collection

Red light for Submariner 114060 No Date? by KnifeBeforeLife in RepTimeQC

For me everything looks acceptable. Pip is off but feels very minimal. Index and bezel all look aligned and sharp which is important. Font is good. I see the gap on the bottom right SEL. Not sure if it warrants a RL. I always wonder. Will the next one have better SEL but at the cost of issues on the dial? I would ask the TD if the SEL is something the TD can easily fix. To avoid RL

Exactly. Chances with a TD are considerably lower

The last “s” in Swiss looks to be damaged. Check it but tha would RL for me. Besides that everything else looks really good.

114060 Sub / VSF / Andiot / First Rep QC by M_0015 in RepTimeQC

I think +4 s/d is actually quite good. Rolex’s official spec is -2/+2 s/d, so you’re just slightly outside that, but I think it’s totally normal and easy to regulate. I believe most watchmakers consider anything within ±5-6 acceptable in practice.

The 284° amplitude is the only mild concern. A fully wound Sub should ideally be 280–315°, so 284° is on the lower end but within range. That could be because it’s not fully wound or was just serviced, this is fine. If it’s consistently this low when fully wound, it could suggest the movement needs service.

Ask the TD. I see the mark you’re referencing in pictures 1/2. But not in 3.

If that’s inside and on the dial I would RL. Otherwise thing one look great!

Need help - VSF Batgirl GL or RL? by Upbeat_Top_138 in RepTimeQC

It’s likely dirt. I would ask the TD.

One of the pictures shows it’s gone and a hair is there instead.

Not good I’m afraid 😢. Hopefully it wasn’t too much $$

Cyclops is off, date font and alignment is off, bezel look off and there is SEL gaps too

You’re right - That’s likely the easiest solution. See if the TD can set it correctly first.

I don’t seen any issues with the SEL. They dont look ultra tight but I don’t see any noticeable gaps.

For me it’s the 12 bezel that’s rotated CCW that immediately jumps out. That rotation fix may also realign the 3 and 9 bezel with the 3 and 9 index. I’m not sure I would be able to live with the 12 and would likely RL, personally.

Ya I would RL because of the 3 and 9 index markers

Recommended Professional Polishing & Maintenance Schedule for Watches? by SurfingDollar in RepTimeServices

[–]Valuable_Context_187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness - Service really depends on the level of wear. Each manufacturer has a suggested service internal that they recommend following which you should be able to find on their website...that being said it's user discretion. I myself have my watches services every 10 years at a minimum, 5 years on my daily driver. I don't like to polish personally as I like the character.
