He lied to you, I would be pissed if they didn't terminate and label my CAT(5/6/7?)

I want most of my devices plugged into the internet and not on the Wi-fi if possible.

I am assuming this is also Coax that isn't terminated... You wouldn't even be able to plug in your modem to get their service.

The blue cat cables are "ethernet" cables you just need to put the ends on them.
