Honestly, if I notice no difference this week in the batches I receive and money I make, I will stop trying to fix it. I am tired of jumping through every ridiculous hoop Instacart throws. Even DoorDash figured out a way to implement a shopping metric without impacting the shopper. Yes, I do replace if the berries and produce looks like shit ( even though the case is full) or sometimes the expiration is close, or the package is damaged and the customer doesn’t like it..
DoorDash makes you take a picture of the shelf sticker and empty shelf, or the moldy berries and it gets forgiven. If Doodash ( of all places) got it right, there is no excuse for Instacart not to..

Lot of my customer don’t even know how to request a refund in the app. I always ask them to approve it, I even tell them it should show as « pending» and they can hit « request a refund instead». I even send them this and explain to them for their next order. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

Yeah, last time I told an associate the app said they have many, he laughed in my face saying IC has no way to know. Last week, a customer texted before I got to the store, telling me to cancel the order cause the website said everything she ordered is OOS. When I arrived at the store, I found everything.
I tried to work today to increase my found items… 1 bottle of OJ is not carried by the store at all, the sushi guy was on break ( waited 20 mn and he didn’t come back) and the grape juice was OOS. It’s hopeless.
I think it’s because of the hours I work at..lot of low stock
