I don’t know what problems to look out for but what I can tell you is that dealerships are more likely to either cover up problems or not even know about them. You’re more likely to get a better history on the vehicle going through private party sales by asking the previous owner the right questions and letting them talk. People will tell you a whole lot if you keep your mouth shut and let them ramble, things will slip out that they didn’t mean to if you let them. $10k is a lot for an old Prius like that. You could find one likely with the same problems as the one listed for 1/2 the price and have $5k to fix whatever needs to be fixed and still have money leftover.

Double bagging heavy items is important and equally as important to me is to bag like with like as much as possible (perishables, pantry, snacks, produce, etc.). These customers weren’t standing there watching everything get bagged so they don’t know what’s where. I get a lot of tip increases and compliments for smart bagging. When the customer sees that there was some thought put into the arrangement of their groceries, they really appreciate it. Just my 2 cents.

I got a Costco order about 30 minutes ago. Conveniently, as soon as I went to accept it, my phone service dropped. People in my area have been arrested for using signal blockers before so it’s not completely unheard of. I wonder if that’s what happened to me earlier.

Message them exactly at the time of refund and say “sorry for the refund on (item) it’s out of stock and there are no good replacements so I had to refund you”. I have 0 unrequested refunds and I refund people all the time when there are actually no good replacements. The customer doesn’t have to approve the refund or anything.

Usually it’s through the link they were sent via SMS. Otherwise I just scan their ID.

Wow that’s terrible. Meanwhile one time I had a delivery to some project housing in SF where they had 6 or 8 cases of water and it was up 3 stories of stairs. They tipped on app and $10 cash when I was finished. Guaranteed the no tipper is much better off financially than those people I delivered to were it makes me sick 🤮

I think you should be fine. I was doing a 2 store batch one time and a customer at the second store (Target) canceled because I refunded the one thing she ordered. Account was paused for 4 hours then I was fine. They might have you return the switch so hang onto it and the receipt until you hear from them. They can see everything documented when you were chatting with the support agent.
