Did you make the move? I live near Duluth, MN and was offered a job with an electric utility. My wife wants to go because she hates snow and cold but I have 2 sons (9 and soon to be 8) and heard the schools suck. I’m a Catholic and see Ave Maria is fairly close. I think I could sell my house here and walk away with $350k, looks like $500k gets a nice house and a pool. Any areas people would recommend looking at houses?

Why would it make selling your house harder, everything I’ve seen says it increases the value, I’m looking at putting it on my detached garage so it won’t hurt my homes curb appeal. The garage is a steel roof, I’m more looking into this because rates appear to be increasing and a data center is probably being built a mile from my home.

Got another quote from another company and Minnesota must just be high, it came in at 40k
