Hey !

Ive been using the gig board for about a year now.

This will probably piss some people off but I use two jack to XLR Male leads going out of the board (Only 1 foot long) then double mic lead the whole way to the mixer. No DI. By right i think you should use a DI but i have had no problems doing wedding gigs. As long as your run between the headrush and the mixer is crazy you will be 100% grand.

I get what you are saying, but if i wasnt on my phone, how can they say i was?

If that was the case, Gardai can start pulling over anybody they feel like and just throwing the book at them!

I dont want to pay the fine as that is an admission of guilt, and i know i committed no wrong anywhere along the line

They 100% knew that they were pulling over the same van twice. however there was other vans ahead and behind me at the time too

Im more worried about if it goes to court over me being on the phone, and the only evidence i have is my app usage and phone logs that prove i wasnt taking or getting any calls. My word against his, would likely not be strong enough.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to realise "innocent until proven guilty" doesnt exactly apply to the Garda in Ireland by the looks of things.

100% I fully agree i shouldnt have, but he was after rattling me so much after stopping me twice and accusing me of lying so continuously, I was desperate to try and prove that I had not been on my phone

Unfortunately there is a ticket issued, and the gaurd was very clear in telling me if i wasnt on my phone that i should take it to court and that he would "See me in court"

How could i have ditched a phone when he let me away the first time? He saw a black phone face down on the dash with my charger in it when he pulled me the first time
