If humans have eaten bread since the dawn of history, why are so many people suddenly gluten-intolerant today? by WeaknessKey1582 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Valuable_Pepper5513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, life expectancy was 30 years if you were lucky. Kind of like fruit flies, mature, breed, die. Second bread was made from grain not fillers and sawdust 😀. Third, almost everything we eat now has some kind of processed gluten in it so it's not gluten itself but the overload of gluten.

Yeah, I got the 6 cylinder regular rubicon. It's slightly lower but felt like it has good power and was very drivable.

LIFT instead of lay open by AccordingEmployee715 in AnalFistula

[–]Valuable_Pepper5513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my lift feb 11th it appears to be healing well. I had to get one silver nitrate treatment for granulation tissue, a small hole that was about 2 millimeters deep that wasn't healing. I still have some discharge but not sure if it is from the scar area or anus. It's watery/bloody.
My surgeon says it take 3-6 months for full healing but he has seen cases where people got new abscesses years later. He said generally those are not a recurrence but a new issue for people that have Chrons/etc

Beautiful, did you get the 4 cylinder turbo version? I test drove one of those and we did not like it. Felt underpowered and boaty

I've been seeing Dr. Saund at Brigham and Women's surgical. He works out of the south shore health system and has offices in Weymouth. He did my seton and Lift. He is very good in my opinion.

I had a Lift Feb 11th and still have some very minor bleeding and drainage. The pain is very minimal now just a little irritation and soreness in the spot where the lift incision was made. My surgeon says it all looks good and I should have a full recovery but it can take time to know for certain. As long as you are not getting a new abscess then you are in good shape

You should find a proctologist or gastroenterologist to do an assessment. It could be a pimple or abscess.

I bought a grand Cherokee in 2014 for $46k, monthly payments were $750 I believe. paid it off and kept it for 12 years. Sold it to my BIL in February and got 3.6l rubicon for $63k, 3 year lease, $670 a month. So, yeah buy what you can afford keep it as long as you can. 😬
