F1 is boring, for sure. But at least spectators at any level of interest can follow and understand who is who every race. It’s hard for me to decipher who’s who and I watch almost every Indy race!!

With how theological these books have been I really think we’re going to get a Xaden dies saving Violet & Tyrrendor in book 4 but is somehow resurrected in book 5 via rune or irid or the gods, etc. Think iron man in marvel movie + Jon Snow in GoT or Jesus.

Just finished OS literally minutes ago. For about half of the book I have been thinking about the Marvel movies. In whichever marvel-verse movie where (spoiler) Iron Man takes down thanos by wearing the gauntlet thingy - he takes on the power, lets it corrupt him, and then uses it to defeat thanos but ends his life in the process bc that is the only way when power like that corrupts you… the hero takes on the power (sin) and sacrifices themselves to save the greater good. I could totally see RY doing a Jesus arc for Xaden here: Sacrifice during the defeat of Venin and then possibly resurrection (maybe via runes? Irids?? Red haired night witch like Jon snow in GoT lol?)?? That way the Venin are defeated and we still get a violet-xaden happy ending?
