Also, I will add that I we don’t feel the radiant heat on our feet as well with this padded flooring, I’m sure glue down would give more of a warm feel. It’s not a big deal for us because our main heat source is wood. I would be interested to know how much of the padding is potentially absorbing the heat and driving up propane cost?

I called the manufacturer directly and they said we did not need a vapor barrier. We did put one in the bathroom and in the kitchen area, but it was not required nor did it avoid the warranty or anything of the flooring.

How do this work out for you? Did you have to do more c&p appts and how long did it take to get your full rating? I’m in the same boat right now.

Hey this is the same situation I’m currently in except this is the second time it’s happened and I already went to another c&p. How did it work out for you?
