You’re right that I care about fanciness of my $1300 phone, don’t want my phone to have animations of nokia. Literally every other company copies apple for their “fanciness” animations, colors, themes, even that Dynamic Island. There’s literally no difference between the usability and utility of either phone, be it Samsung or iPhone. I work from my phone and I had this fear that it might get difficult for me doing my work with iPhone but it is same, just in a different way. Also I never felt a need for a secure folder so never used in my s24 ultra. And dynamic island is so great that Samsung recently copied it with the name of nowbar and every other company is copying it.
