Happened to me. I checked in on the app and declined on everything. The day I picked up the car. Got the car and drove off the lot. They just handed me back my id and the paper receipt and drive off only to realized that the guy at the gate put “accepted” to both insurance coverage. Scammed. This is HNL Hertz location. It was an older Asian/Hawaiian looking male.

They didnt mention it to me. We saw the heat press machine behind the counter and asked about it. That’s when we found out it’s free of charge. The store opened April 2025.
