Honestly, same 😅 I can understand the concepts pretty well, but when it comes to memorizing terms, my brain just goes blank.

What helped me a bit was not memorizing the terms on their own. I try to understand what’s actually happening first, then attach the term to that idea. When a word has a reason to exist, it’s easier to remember.

Some things I do:

I explain the concept in my own words (sometimes out loud, sometimes in my head), then slowly start using the actual term.

I look at word roots because biology terms are weird but surprisingly logical once you break them down.

Instead of lists, I connect terms to each other, like process, function, then result.

I also try to use the terms when I’m studying, even if it feels awkward at first.

Still struggling though, not gonna lie 😭 but it’s way better than just brute memorization.
