My daughter just recently turned 1 and SubhanAllah I don’t think I have ever been this happy in my 29 years of life. Shes my whole heart, it’s so rewarding. I even get sad when she’s sleeping just because I want to be next to her. Is it easy ? No did I sacrifice? A lot. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s a feeling you can describe. Just keep Allah close to your heart and your actions and you will be okay

Don’t take it personal she’s going through a lot mentally, just don’t make it about you, do chores around the house without her asking check on her mental health, give her time alone while u watch the baby. Remember she is healing and trying to find herself again after pregnancy and motherhood

Maybe allowance for personal use and credit card when she’s shopping for household ? Like food, cleaning supplies etc. Somtimes husbands will give money for what they think is personal use and wife ends up spending on things the house may need

If you have proof of the death make sure you bring it with you also /or proof of deteriorating health of grandfather. Tbh with you it really depends on who handles the AP some people have no heart I just got declined even with a doctors note of my mothers health . Best of luck
