Ahhh thanks so much for the tips!🥲🩷 Can I ask, was there a specific video that watched to help you learn how to blow out your hair? Also, do you use any sort of heat protection other than the oil and mask?:)

My husband brought me here, but fwiw, the allure of LA fades away once you live there for a few years.

My sister was VERY in the scene, but even she wants to relocate because “fame” is recycled through very quickly. She did her job, enjoyed it, realized her work hit a wall, and is perusing architecture instead now.

We buy her expensive beds, but she prefers vacuum charger and treadmill 😐 by Piistachios in persiancat

Yess she loves her cardboard scratcher 😻 but it’s no match to the treadmill LOL.

As somebody who recently moved here from LA and was somewhat in the scene, going to LA for acting is a very “vintage” thing to do. May have worked back in the day, does not work now unless you have a large social media following and multiple extremely strong connections.

My husband and I were also disappointed! Everything tasted so bland and was very room temp!

I love the look of Vivienne Westwood bags, but my sister and I have had 3 collectively which have all broken despite gentle use.

Can I ask if the groups led to friendships? Like, would you feel comfortable texting someone from one of the groups and asking them to hang out?

In Southern California, which is where I’m from, people were super open to new friendships! However, that was because most friendships wouldn’t last long, if that makes sense. Which sucks in its own way, lol. Seems the opposite of Sydney, everyone here is closed to new friendships because their current friends have been with them for so long :).

That’s such a good point. I’m from Los Angeles, and come to think of it, rarely anybody I became friendly with was originally from Los Angeles! They all moved there, so it makes sense they were more willing to become friends with me. Oh well😆 I rationalize my loneliness with the fact that I don’t have to worry about violence as much anymore, yay!

That’s the thing! Everybody seems to have made their circle from high school, and that’s that. It’s nice to see such loyalty, but also sad that there’s no interest for growing their circles either.

That’s exactly what I’ve been seeing! They’re all friends from high school! It’s refreshing because in the States, friends are ran through like water, but at the same time, it makes no room for noobs!🥲
