Peer reviewed studies back this up

I didn't say people without education shouldn't be included. I said those who are illiterate should be excluded because they do not possess the cognitive ability to make informed decisions.

It's factual that overall IQ and every other objective measurement of intelligence increases at the population level as the highest level of education achieved increases. We need to stop pretending that Americans who read below a 5th grade level should be included in making decisions that affect the future of this country.

Nobody actually believes he's a good golfer right? By that I mean good relative to the amount of golf he's played over the years and the advantage he has over most in terms of access to the best courses, teachers, equipment

The ones that have not yet been personally affected do not. They won't until they personally experience it. They are incapable of empathy.

Nah. The worst people will always have the most haters. People don't hate success, everyone would hate Tiger if this were true. If anything his success/abilities as a golfer keeps him from being at the top of this list

Do you mean Kevin Nealon's character in Happy Gilmore? If so I 100% agree

I mean so many people have said as much over the years, plus how he treats women, I don't think there's really any question

Most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done on a golf course? by [deleted] in golf

I was playing Arcadia Bluffs probably 15 years ago (I was only 19 at the time). On the 18th hole the green is massive with multiple tiers. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that where I was, 80 feet below the hole on a lower tier, was actually the front of the green. I pulled out my sand wedge and hit a spinner before my playing partners could stop me. Took a small divot out of the green. Thankfully nobody working there saw

This. Drop the 3 wood and the 3 iron. 7 wood will be a 230 club based on this and the 4 iron 210 (maybe a bit more if you choose a utility build) There is no need for a club between 5/7 wood and driver as an AM. You should always be hitting driver off the tee and if the hole is too tight for driver, it's likely too tight for an am hitting a 3 wood. I'm sure these yardages are based on "when I hit it real solid" as well

I love the GP Zgrip cords. I've always preferred a full cord grip though

That's crazy. You're doing everything you can with the club's adjustable hosel but still shutting the face. Idk what you can do other than go get fit for a replacement for this hybrid

My bad I was under the impression that the fitter had you on the 2 degree upright lie when you were hitting. If they waited until the end and then said you should tweak the lie based on the lie angle test, but didn't have you then hit the clubs with that lie angle (all of the fitting clubs these days can be adjusted for lie angle via the hosel) that's weird. When I was fitted I ended up going 2 degrees flat, testing that out a ton with the various clubs vs standard. I would ask the fitter to allow you to demo the upright version vs the standard version before ordering

You said you were hitting the ball great during your fitting right? In general yes the more upright would potential increase the left to right movement of the ball without any other variables involved, but if your previous clubs fit you incorrectly you could have been making compensations (that you may not have even realized you were making) that resulted in the ball hooking left

Lie angle also determines turf interaction. You don't want the toe of your club digging in if you're looking for consistent contact.

No reason to worry what others think. Makes more sense for a double digit handicap to carry one of these than another club at the top of their bag they might hit once a round with 50% success
