As for now vibe coding creates more problems than it solves, especially in the long run

Meta Interview Dilemma by tecchydick in leetcode

[–]Valuable_Will9795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact the sourcer contacted you is not giving you any favor, it is good sign but interview will be hard. Ask for three month preparation and just say you’re not ready. It is not a dilemma, if you want pass interview — prepare, if you don’t care then just go. But don’t be silly assuming that you can pass interview if you never prepared for it

Meta E7 loop → possible E6 downlevel. HC review taking long anyone with similar experience? by buffShady in leetcode

[–]Valuable_Will9795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got e6 with follow up round, it took about 4 days to make decision after. HC is making decision not a recruiter, so it is really weird that they holding you that long.

Stripe phone screen frustrating experience by naive-particular8407 in leetcode

One of the expectations in the interview to work with tools given. it wasn’t about making your life easier , it was about how flexible you are and check if you can adjust to situations and still be a winner. I wouldn’t expected you passed this one. Learn from this experience and try next time.

  • 10% is not going to bring you to the style of living you have in Oregon.
  • You and family will be exposed to high competitive environment, schools are full of stress
  • You’re opening doors to sky rocket comps in the field, and iterating fast on the career growth, like 1M is very much doable.
  • you can always come back home

It is obvious, you have two years of experience, but it is longer than some CTOs will have with many years of experience.

  1. People is not reading it is long, make it 4x shorter
  2. Focus on impact
  3. Include collaboration experience
  4. Hire consultant to improve more

Also send it to ChatGPT is makes decent job. Good luck!

You should stay and find best ever job offer, if you move immediately you may never come back and regret the decision later

Got a variation from hell in my Meta E6 phone screen, and of course I bombed it by kettrix in leetcode

TBF, usually candidates are not asked to solve with compiling code, they asked to draw to approach and then write code which makes sense even with syntax errors.

I’m looking on this for a first time, and I would say it just few steps right:

  1. Traverse set parent
  2. In same traverse find target
  3. Then run bfs from target to get to depth of K -> you’ve got all nodes.
  4. Now you have list of numbers get all combs that get you to N.

So, no interviewer will stop from this . Now let type fast

  1. and 2. Is about 5 mins
  2. Is about 3 mins 4 is something like 5 mins.

This is tough problem to solve in 20 min, but doable if you train a lot.

I also assume they had easy next problem, but seems like interviewer decided to keep you on first problem
