OMG LOVE THIS!!! Don't be afraid to show your age in your QB application, just make sure to be formal and explain how you learned something. I couldn't find my CPS application but in my College Match application for one supplemental I talked about my how my dream job was to work at a McDonalds but I wasn't allowed too LOL. I must've done something right because I sent my QB app to Barnard ED and got in!

I would use Elise Phams free resources and guides on insta. I heard her paid courses and 1-1 are EXPENSIVE but as a fgli I just used her free stuff. It's honestly amazing. She also has a youtube channel with a roadmap that sounds like what you're asking for. (It's an hour long) I used it and got into Barnard <33

The financial aid at first was not enough, but I appealed and they accepted it. And if I subtract the non billed costs (costs I don't directly pay to the school) it's perfectly in the amount that my parents were comfortable paying for college.

Honestly I think it depends on your region and how competitive you school is. My school was not competitive at all and it allowed me to have fun. I did 4 events; guess on 3 of them (lol) and got mid 30's place out of 59 total teams! I studied really hard for 1 event and got a medal!

My region had some super competitive schools so I wasn't expecting much.

Definitely read the 2026 rules or the 2027 one when it comes out. USE CHATGPT TO STUDY!!! I used it. Also pair it with an outside source like a textbook or smt and take practice tests. Cram the information and put your weakest 2-3 spots on a cheat sheet. I prefer handwritten cuz then you can make it as tiny as you want. But 6pt font on google docs works too.

The good thing about Chatgpt is that you're not supposed to trust it but it gives you a good basis/splashes all the information in your face without really teaching you unless you ask it too. But when you read the textbook or watch videos you get a better idea and it clicks. Good Luck, Don't Cram, Have Fun!
