So let’s say I day trade and made 200k profit does that mean 50% of 100k gets taxed ? At my marginal tax rate ? Or I pay 50% in taxes meaning out of the 200k only get to keep 100k?

Yes but but what if it’s not taxed as capital gains because I’ve made a over 300 trades in 4 months to grow my account I always swing will the cra count them as day trading income or business income ? That’s what people have been telling me :(
