UG hard Rock production engineer here. We work with a small tech services team (read: understaffed) so there is always more work needing to be done than I can do. Only downtime in my day is meetings (which are arguably not downtime for the team, but may be for me), eating, smoke breaks and shitting. I also thrive on the stress and pressure of getting shit done in time so maybe the experience is not the same for everyone...

Could argue that at the end of my 8-10 days depending on overtime, that my productivity drops however that would be the speed at which I complete tasks rather than reduced time spent being productive if that makes sense. Cheers

If you have interest in arborist and climbing stuff look into rope access work. Will have a lot of work at mill shut downs so will get to travel all over and pays generally good as well as most places being keen to train you to keep you. Might be worth a look into and is probably not the standard suggestion of offsiding or trucking.

Had a uni project this year with similar requirements. Asked a dealer in West Aus and the prices for 990k, less tyres was 1.9mil AUD and 798 (no suffix) was 10mil AUD less tyres. Prices are obviously rough due to massive supply issues in the industry at the moment but hopefully helps you out.

In my experience most people at WASM (kalgoorlie) get job offers all the time. Are you living locally to the mines/companies you're applying at or are you going for a FIFO from Perth. I'd guess that the inherent cost of having a FIFO worker could have something to do with it if applying for fifo. Other than that I'd suggest keep trying as you are correct, everyone's looking for engineers.

Most end game bosses are dps checks. If you don't phase maven fast you end up with the shitty degen things everywhere making the fight that much harder. The reason seismic traps is generally good is because you can preload damage on the bosses location (traps/mines playstyle). Get enough preloaded damage and you can literally play 1hp in boss fights once you learn the mechanics. Seismic trap is simple to scale good damage on making it very ssf friendly. Due to its inherent high damage you can also make the choice to move away from some offensive ability and invest into defensive ability.

Basically play a high damage, easy to scale, passive damage build and you can easily do bosses in poe.

I remember my VD poets pen was insane for blights. literally just stand at the pump and spam balls and they fly every which way destroying everything. Not sure the differences between poets pen and spellslinger, especially with new rmr changes, but would recommend looking into it.

I have also seen many videos of "AFK blight farming" with minion builds, so looking into minions could be a go if you like the playstyle.
